What You Will Do

Find and attract outstanding talent for one of the world’s most innovative and creative multidisciplinary research institutions! Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for a high caliber talent acquisition professional to join our centralized institutional recruiting team. You will participate in the search for some of the best and brightest talent on the planet.

Reporting to the Group Manager in the Office of Diversity and Strategic Staffing, the Senior Recruiter will be responsible for talent acquisition activities including partnering with hiring managers to identify search criteria and strategies; sourcing and following-up with potential applicants; attending recruiting events; and promoting high-potential candidates.

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

Management Consultation

Extensive experience consulting with hiring managers, including assisting with job posting development, recruiting strategies, and hiring best practices

Candidate Sourcing

Extensive experience networking, sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates for a variety of professional and managerial positions, including the demonstrated ability to place numerous highly qualified candidates over short periods of time

Social Media

Extensive experience conducting online searches, developing social media recruitment strategies, and using related tools, including LinkedIn

Career Fairs and Events

Extensive experience attending recruiting events/career fairs, including serving as a knowledgeable and motivational organizational ambassador

Requisition Management

Extensive experience managing multiple recruiting requisitions, including the accurate and timely disposition of candidates

Desired Skills:

Business and Operations

Experience recruiting for a large variety of business and operational fields such as information technology, human resources/training, facility operations/engineering, and/or employee safety and security

Diversity and Inclusion

Extensive knowledge of diversity and inclusion strategies as they relate to talent acquisition, including the demonstrated ability to place diverse candidates across a variety of disciplines

Workforce Planning

Thorough knowledge and experience analyzing workforce data; identifying current and future gaps in the workforce; and developing and implementing plans to address gaps

Metrics

Experience developing effective talent acquisition metrics and corresponding reports to demonstrate success or opportunities

Education:Position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Salary: 71000
