What You Will Do
The T-2 group (Nuclear and Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology) in the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) invites applications for several postdoctoral positions in nuclear theory to begin as early as summer 2020.
Our group conducts research on a broad set of topics in theoretical nuclear physics including the modeling of nuclear structure, nuclear reactions, nuclear fission, applied nuclear physics, nuclear data evaluations and nuclear astrophysics. LANL scientists in the T-2 group working in these areas include Gerry Hale, Michael Herman, Toshihiko Kawano, Amy Lovell, Matthew Mumpower, Mark Paris and Ionel Stetcu. We collaborate actively with our colleagues throughout the laboratory and have close ties with ongoing collaborations in applied nuclear data, astrophysics and experimental physics.

Minimum Job Requirements:
PhD in related fields completed within the past five years or soon to be completed.
