    We have great health insurance options with complete medical, dental, and vision coverage. Eligible family members include spouse, same- and opposite-sex domestic partners, and children. Low- and no-cost health partners are available for telemedicine, expert second opinions, and other virtual services. We offer a Health Savings Account (HSA), as well as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) that include healthcare reimbursement, dependent care reimbursement, and adoption assistance expense accounts.

    Your Wellness

    We promote and support employee physical and mental wellbeing with opportunities to attend educational seminars and earn financial incentives for participating in wellness activities. The Lab has an onsite clinic to assist employees with work-related issues. Plus, a fully equipped fitness facility, fitness classes, outdoor trails, and track are available for all employees at no cost.

    We offer three weeks of vacation in the first year of employment, 10 paid holidays annually, and a generous sick leave policy. The Lab offers a variety of work schedules, including an option with every other Friday off.

    We offer six weeks of paid maternity leave and three weeks of paid parental leave. Mamava privacy units for breastfeeding mothers are conveniently located on-site.

    We provide online resources, onsite and facilitated classroom training, and access to professional developmental opportunities. LANL offers reimbursement for the cost of tuition, fees, and books for eligible courses with accredited institutions. Tuition discount programs are available for eligible employees and their dependents at the University of California and Texas A&M University.
