Los Alamos National Laboratory Computational Biophysics Postdoc in Los Alamos, New Mexico
What You Will Do
We are looking for an independent and creative individual with an excellent record to join our research efforts in modeling of complex membrane based biomolecular systems. This postdoctoral position is available to work in the field of computational biophysics in the Theoretical Biology and Biophysics Group at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. The successful candidate will take part in any one of these projects: lipid based nanoplatforms for capture of amphiphiles, machine learning for antibiotic discovery, semi-Markovian models for conformational dynamics, role of membrane on initiation of signaling cascades, and influence of sugars in therapeutic glycoprotein designs. Expertise in any of the following techniques is preferred: all-atom and coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations, multi-scale approaches, enhanced sampling methods, Markov processes and machine learning.
