What You Will Do
The CSP-4 will becomes a team member for a highly visible Network Infrastructure and Engineering (NIE) group that manages enterprise services for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This specific team is designated under Core Services (CS) and makes up the Collaboration team under that group. NIE-CS manages technologies that include Office 365, Exchange email, Mobile Device Management using BlackBerry UEM and iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads, Skype for Business, and SharePoint.
Computer Systems Professional 4 ($103,500 - $172,800)
The CSP4 will be the principle support, design, and planning contact for Micosoft O365 Teams and related services such as OneDrive and SharePoint. This administrator will be the technical lead for Microsoft Teams and will have the responsibility of coordinating service needs with other services (e.g. Network, Security, Compliance, and Application services run by other teams). The primary role is managing O365 and being the point of contact for all other dependent services. This includes oversight of user roles, configuration, compliance, and overall health of Teams in Office 365. Additionally, this administrator will support Skype for Business for two networks.

Demonstrated advanced competency in managing hardware and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, and client server principles.
Demonstrated advanced competency in Office 365 Tenant configuration and testing.
Expert knowledge in the use project management methodologies and technologies.
Demonstrated competency in the ability to read, write, and translate technical ideas that can be delivered to a variety of audiences.
Expert ability to coordinate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers to maintain a successful work environment and complete mission. This includes the coordination of services in which our team requires support.
Advanced vendor and professional certifications related to Office 365 and Teams are desired at this level.
Computing Systems Professional 4 Position requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Post Graduate coursework may be expected.
Experience in understanding government system security requirements such as NIST and STIG standards.
Experience developing Windows PowerShell code to assist in automation and monitoring.
Experience in proper use of load balancing and front end layers of abstraction for server security
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 services and concepts (Azure AD, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.).

After hour and on-call requirements exist for this position
Location: This position will be part of the Laboratory’s Telework Pilot and may work from a remote/home location within a two-hour ground commute of the Laboratory. The Telework Pilot is in effect from Oct. 1, 2020 through Sept. 30, 2021, but may be shortened or extended at the manager’s discretion. Ability to report on-site is a must for this position.
