What You Will Do
The Lab invites you to join our Controller Systems Team. We are looking for a seasoned Financial Systems Analyst professional to provide systems support and become a member on our Systems Team.
The CNTL-Systems team is seeking to ﬁll a position as a Senior Systems Analyst with a focus on the support and maintenance of the Oracle Time and Labor System as a Lead Analyst and Backup for Oracle Payroll. Reporting to the CNTL Systems Group Leader, the position will serve as an inter‐organizational liaison providing analytical and technical expertise in the development and maintenance of the Laboratory’s Oracle Applications.
The position will provide a mix of both technical and functional expertise. Primary duties will include leading efforts to deliver business solutions within the Oracle Enterprise Suite of modules, application conﬁguration and development of functional testing to support new releases/upgrades and the development of functional designs. Additional duties include support for the Oracle Time and Labor and Payroll modules or equivalent of other enterprise tools supporting labor collection and payroll; analyze complex financial reporting problems to be solved in automated systems; provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements; configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing; create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and design details of automated systems. The position will provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems, develop strategies and creative reporting solutions. Reliability and availability and ability to work outside a regular schedule are a must.

Minimum Job Requirements
Business Systems Knowledge and Support
Extensive knowledge of financial systems information technology theory, principles, techniques and hardware, and applying that knowledge to accounting and financial management as it relates to Oracle Payroll to include Time and Labor. Demonstrated wide-range expertise in Oracle Time and Labor, including the configuration set-ups, available functionality, and the integration of these modules with the Oracle HRMS and Financial modules. Test and support new releases, upgrades and the development of functional designs.
Extensive knowledge and experience with enterprise resource modules, resource planning systems and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite primarily Oracle Payroll and Oracle Time and Labor. Proven ability to test and support new releases, upgrades and the development of functional designs.
Extensive experience analyzing complex financial reporting problems, developing strategies and creative reporting solutions.
Demonstrated, extensive experience in delivering business solutions within the payroll, time and labor modules and application configuration. Extensive knowledge and experience leading special projects requiring the development of unique solutions to problems of unusual complexity, recommending and implementing courses of actions.
The candidate must have strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with other functional system analysts, technical resources, and subject matter experts for the area they support and to provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience. Post-graduate degree and/or expert level professional certification(s) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
Experience interacting with data using strong Structured Query Language (SQL).
Experience working with large data sets, demonstrating the ability to analyze data and provide actionable analysis for decision-making.
Experience SQL, PL/SQL, and workflow.
Project management experience
