The Finance and Accounting MBA program is designed for the working professional wanting to continue their education without compromising work experience and career growth opportunities. The program allows individuals to obtain their MBA in 24 months through a hybrid course delivery method while security a full-time graduate position at Los Alamos National Laboratory with all tuition and fees covered. The Finance and Accounting Division (FA-DO) delivers financial products and services in support of the Laboratory's mission. Our financial management focus includes the following:

  • Integrating processes and systems across FA Division

  • Providing quality business processes and systems throughout the Laboratory

  • Partnering with the programs and technical divisions to strengthen our business capabilities

  • Providing stewardship of Laboratory, LANS, NNSA and sponsor resources

  • Building alliances with NNSA, DOE, LASO, and the ABQ Service Center

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Must have completed a minimum of 6 semester credit hours (or equivalent) of course work the semester before hire. Year-round students are required to enroll in and complete 6 credit hours per semester (or equivalent) while working as a graduate intern.

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program in any MBA concentration.

  • Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on 4.0 scale.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience and/or education in the Business field.

Education: Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy or related discipline. Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.2 is required.

Clearance: Q(Position will be cleared to this level). Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter.
