What You Will Do_
The Project Controls Group reports to the Management of Functions organization within the Capital Project Principal Associate Directorate of Los Alamos National Laboratory. The Management of Functions-Project Controls (MOF-PC) has over 150 employees deployed across the Laboratory performing project controls functions for both capital projects and science programs.
What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
Experience in performing quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis, schedule monitoring, report writing, and computer operations
Demonstrated understanding of technical processes, engineering drawings, quantity determinations, and mathematical and financial reports
Demonstrated intermediate level understanding of project controls general technical skills
Knowledge in the use of computers for executing work processes
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience
Desired Skills:Q clearance or the ability to meet the requirements to attain DOE clearance at this level.
Education: Position requires a degree in engineering, construction management, or other related degree and a minimum of four years of experience in a field directly related to project controls. An equivalent combination of education and project controls experience may be considered.

New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
Term position: Regular-status Laboratory employees applying for term-status positions may retain regular status with approval of the cognizant Principle Associate Director.
