Los Alamos National Laboratory Quantum Dot Synthesis Postdoctoral Research Associate in Los Alamos, New Mexico

What You Will Do

Nanotechnology and Advanced Spectroscopy Team of the Chemistry Division (C) is seeking outstanding candidates to join existing projects on the development of novel colloidal nanomaterials for applications in solar-energy conversion and light-emitting devices. The position will involve the development of novel approaches to synthesis of semiconductor nanocrystals (quantum dots) of various complexities, their surface functionalization, and incorporation into solid-state matrices. The synthetic work will be directly linked to strong efforts in spectroscopic characterization and the development of exploratory device structures. Detailed information on Team’s research projects and capabilities is available at http://quantumdot.lanl.gov. For additional inquiries, please, contact Victor I. Klimov at klimov@lanl.gov.

What You Need
