As a Senior Metrologist, you will support the mentoring of less experienced staff, a variety of engineering and quality projects to improve capability, capacity and compliance. At this level, you will work with engineers and managers to recommend and support improvements in the physical metrology lab.

Metrologist/ Engineering Technologist 3 ($94,100 – $155,700)

At this level, in addition to the lower-level requirements, you will be a sought-after subject matter expert in physical metrology principles, theories, concepts, techniques, and requirements. You apply your expert-level metrology knowledge to complex calibrations, calibration system operability, and metrology quality challenges. You will have the ability to integrate ISO/IEC 17025 and Nuclear Weapon Contractor requirements to assure high quality technical product and compliant operations in the physical metrology lab.
