What You Will Do

Use your marketing, branding, and communication skills to help attract outstanding talent for one of the world’s most innovative and creative multidisciplinary research institutions. Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for a high caliber marketing and communications expert to help guide our internet, social media, and recruitment branding strategies. You will help shape the search for some of the best and brightest talent on the planet.

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Internet and Social Media Recruiting: Expert knowledge of talent acquisition strategies related to the internet and social media, including Google ad campaigns and LinkedIn sponsored updates.

  • Recruitment Branding and Marketing: Demonstrated experience designing and implementing a variety of recruitment campaigns and marketing materials that cohesively brand an organization’s talent acquisition efforts.

  • Recruiting Contract Management: Experience negotiating and managing a variety of recruitment contracts, including contracts with advertising agencies and companies such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other talent acquisition-focused entities.

  • Diversity-Focused Recruiting: Demonstrated experience designing and implementing successful recruiting campaigns targeting diverse groups, such as women, minorities, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and/or LGBTQ populations.

Desired Skills:

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Recruiting: Experience successfully recruiting for STEM occupations in industries related to research, defense, or space.

  • Workforce Planning: Knowledge and experience analyzing workforce data, identifying current and future gaps in the workforce, and developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans to address gaps.

Education Required: Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level, post graduate course work may be desirable.
