Join the Information and Technology Organization! We are seeking energetic Graduate students to support the information and technology environment within the Laboratory. Our organization provides direct support within operations of the Lab to unclassified and classified mission support needs, as well as technical service to the configuration management services for LANL computing environments.

What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or closely related field
- A minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA
- Familiarity with the usage of scientific software packages and how to perform analytical calculations
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment
- Desire to learn new things and openness to work on different projects
Education/Experience: Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, engineering, physics, or a related field
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in one or more of the following topical areas:
- Computer programming (Python, C++, etc.) in support of scientific or engineering applications;
- Application of advanced mathematical methods to develop models of physical phenomena;
- Familiarity with scientific research methods and data demonstrated by completed coursework in the natural sciences;
- Familiarity with cutting edge computational research in applications such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and quantum computing;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal and written) well in a professional scientific context.
Work Environment:
Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
