A student internship is currently available in the Acquisition Services Management (ASM) Division for a Post-Baccalaureate student who has been awarded a bachelor's degree within the past three years but has not yet been accepted and enrolled in a graduate program.
What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Experience working effectively as part of a team with a willingness to assist and support other team members as needed
- Proven ability to produce quality work by applying attention to detail, managing time, and seeing tasks to completion
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of web conferencing (Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related degree (awarded within the past three years) from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on 4.0 scale.
Work Location: This position is designated as Telework and the selected candidate will perform work from a telework/home location within a two-hour ground commute of the Laboratory. All work locations are at the discretion of management and can change at any time with appropriate notice.

No Clearance: Position does not require a security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to drug testing and other pre-employment background checks.
New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Although New Mexico and other states have legalized the use of marijuana, use and possession of marijuana remain illegal under federal law. A positive drug test for marijuana will result in termination of employment, even if the use was pre-offer.
