What You Will Do

Roads and Grounds: Ability to transport all manner of heavy equipment (e.g., dozers, cranes, front end loaders, etc.). Ability to transport materials and employees to job site daily. Ability to work in all types of weather conditions. Ability to contribute to snow removal.

Taxi: Picks up passengers at prearranged locations, taxi stands, or high traffic areas. Assists passengers with entering and exiting vehicles and assists with any luggage. Ensures passengers reach their destinations safely and on time. Must be able to communicate with a vast population and be able to work through many types of situations, some that can be awkward or confrontational.

Warehouse/SM30: Ability to load, secure, transport small/ large freight safely daily. Strong communication skills, computer skills, forklift skills, team player, must be highly organized, warehouse experience.

Tire Shop: Tire Technician HE Tire Shop, 5 Years hands-on Commercial Tire Repair, and extensive knowledge of automotive, truck and heavy equipment tire application, repair and mounting techniques.

Warehouse/TA60: Computer skills, must be highly organized, warehouse experience required, and able to coordinate with delivery personnel. Must be able to communicate with a vast population and be able to work through many types of situations, some that can be awkward or confrontational.

Utilities:Ability to transport all manner of heavy equipment (e.g., bulldozers, cranes, front-end loaders, etc.). Ability to transport materials and employees to job site daily. Ability to work all types of weather conditions. Ability to contribute to snow removal. High school diploma is listed under Education/Experience.

Maintenance Recycling Facility (MRF): Ability to contribute to snow removal. Recycling which includes picking up all recyclables from buildings throughout the lab in box trucks - other duties are driving pack masters picking up trash/cardboard dumpsters delivering to transfer station, picking up /delivering dumpsters where needed, paper shredding.

TA50, and hazmat tankers: Ability to transport materials to job site daily. Ability to work in all types of weather conditions. Ability to contribute to snow removal. Hazmat needed to move hazardous material tanker trailer, and/or water truck. When there is no work available atTA50 teamster will report to roads and grounds.

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Must have a class A or B CDL driver license/DOT program.
  • Must be willing to sign up with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local Union No. 492 if selected for a position.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Q Clearance.

Training/Certifications: Endorsements: Hazmat and Passenger may be required based on the position being considered.

Education/Experience: High School diploma.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Active DOE Q Clearance


Work Environment:

Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.

Work Schedule: The work schedule varies dependent upon the position being filled.

Clearance:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Q Clearance.
