What You Will Do
The Product Realization and Reliability Office (PRRO) in Nuclear Production Operations consists of a multidisciplinary group of engineers and scientists that support plutonium programs (i.e., pit production, surveillance, research & development, and subcritical experiments) across the entire Nuclear Production Operations organization.
PRRO is seeking a digital engineering generalist to support standardization of process and data usage in support of factory floor improvements. The objective of this role is to standardize information collection practices, develop solutions for leveraging the data to drive factory floor change, and link the information with other systems (PLM/MRP/MES/RMS etc.). This position will primarily be office work with intermittent trips to the shop floor. The generalist position will provide as-needed support to different digital engineering initiatives and achieve a broad understanding of the digital engineering domain. Training for specific digital engineering capabilities will be provided.

Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.

Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.

- Co-writing policies and procedures for managing specific information objects
- Supporting capability leads in developing specific digital engineering capabilities from concept through to production implementation
- Supporting Nuclear Productions workforce in using digital engineering capabilities (PLM, RMS, MBSE, etc.)
- Supporting requirements gathering and user feedback collection from Nuclear Productions workforce

What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Experience planning and executing projects of low complexity
- Experience creating and using engineering models in at least one domain (mCAD, eCAD, MBSE, FEA, Requirements etc.)
- Ability to code simple programs / proof of concept within an object oriented language.
- Strong documentation skills; demonstrated ability to document technical results in a formal method/format
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong presentation skills
